while i was waiting in line for dolmus (it's kind of a midibus, but only takes 8 people, it's fast, and has been a way of transportation in Turkey since 30's i think!) i looked around. that particular part of the city was definitely not my favourite in Istanbul, but an unavoidable stop, to get home.
i looked around and just tried to figure out why i disliked there that much. well, there's nothing dramatic going on there, no bad memories or anything, i just don't like Uskudar, yes that's the name.

here is a picture of the place, which looks like anywhere in Istanbul, so stuffed that everything is bursting out of everywhere.. which i like most of the time.. welcome hypocrisy.
